That red flag is not only a sign to the mailman but also to anyone wanting to steal your identity.
Some of the most common types of identity theft are, stealing existing credit cards, or just credit card numbers. (Often happens in restaurants) They will then use your card number and make purchases over the internet. They are stealing bank account and other account numbers and then applying for credit cards in the victim’s name.
As you can see protecting your identity can take some work. But protecting takes far less effort than if you ever have it stolen. Be proactive and start today don’t let someone steal your identity.
